Organisation Lean

"The Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) is a nonprofit education and research organization founded in 1997 to promote and advance the principles of lean thinking in every aspect of business and across a wide range of industries."

Le LEI fait partie du Lean Global Network (LGN). Il a été fondé par James P. Womack et Daniel T. Jones, deux experts du Lean. Le LEI publie des livres, des workbooks et des études de cas. Il organise des ateliers de formation et des conférences. Il alimente la recherche pour aider les entreprises à se transformer et à devenir lean.
